What is already in my account?

Before you look at what you don't have, take inventory of what you do have. This is not a financial account. This account is within you.

Some of your greatest assets may never appear on a bank statement. You may have carried them for years without recognizing their value because no one ever called them assets.

Read every statement slowly. Check everything that describes you — even if you are still developing it. You may discover that you have more in your account than you thought.

You were never empty.

Some of these assets are already strong. Some are still developing. Some may have been buried under circumstances, fear, or lack of opportunity — or simply because nobody ever taught you to recognize them as assets.
